Why practice color matching?
MECCHA CHAMELEON Hiders win by painting their white body to match walls, floors, and props. Seekers tag anyone whose hue, shadow gradient, or tile pattern looks wrong. This trainer lets you rehearse those skills outside the game.
Pick a map palette, sample environment swatches with the eyedropper, tune colors manually, and score your match — same muscle memory as the in-game paint menu (F) and Spoid tool.
How the trainer works
- Pick a map palette that matches the stage you play most.
- Use Single color to practice one surface — sample with the eyedropper or tune the picker manually.
- Light + shadow trains gradient camouflage across lit and shaded zones.
- Checker pattern mirrors tiled floors and checkered halls.
- Prep rush runs random challenges for 60 seconds — simulates limited prep time before Seekers hunt.

What is the MECCHA CHAMELEON color match trainer?
An unofficial browser tool that simulates Hider prep-phase painting — sample map colors with an eyedropper, match light and shadow zones, and practice checker-floor patterns before playing on Steam.
Does this replace playing the real game?
No. Brush textures, metallic/roughness sliders, and pose selection are not simulated. Use this to speed up eyedropper reflexes and color judgment, then apply techniques in-game during prep.
Which maps are included?
Palettes for all four official stages: Hide-and-Seek Mansion, Indoor Country, Sewer, and Backrooms — each with a map thumbnail, representative surface colors, and gradient/checker drills.
